With a little air and some imagination you can make some amazing Halloween props.
For my first pneumatic prop I wanted to build a coffin that would pop open when triggered by a motion sensor.
I built the coffin using four pine 1x6s for the top and four 1x4s for the sides. I wanted a rougher look that light would creep through.
After a coat of grey paint I hooked up the pneumatics and tested out the speed of the opening and closing of the lid. The speed can be adjusted if you use the proper type of fitting.
I will throw a quick plug for where I purchased a kit to include the pneumatic hardware and controller to operate the my coffin prop.
